Infused with a fury
Of life long gone
She stands at the edge
Violets withering away
Oceans brim with life
Unsure if she'll stay

Still, she remains
Eyes lit ablaze
Holding her heart
Containing the flames
~
She writes in her head
She blinks, and it's gone
Away go the harps
Away go the songs
